  • Using Vodka

Did you know that theatre costumers use vodka to deodorize their clothes to remove the body odor? This method which quickly banishes odors with killing stinky bacteria. It can also be used at home. At first, turn the garment inside out and hang it up. After that, pour a little vodka in a spray bottle set the nozzle to a spritz setting and spritz the liquid all over the affected areas. Finally, let the clothing air dry in a ventilated room.

Another effective way is spritzing clothing with a mixture of white vinegar and water. You should dry garments outdoors in the sun. Don’t use this method for removing body odor on fabrics such as silk.

Sticking dry-clean-only clothing in the freezer (wrapped in bags) is another option. It won’t permanently rid the fabric of smells, but it may kill some of the bacteria that creates that telltale sweat odor.
